Dress Code

Parents

To model a culture of respect and professionalism for our children, parents are required to dress “business casual” on co-op day; business casual does not allow for leggings, loungewear, yoga pants, revealing tops, or tight-fitting garments.

Students

To support our culture of serious yet joyful learning, we require a basic uniform for our students.

There are no specific brand requirements and colors are family choice.

  • Polo dress
  • Knitted cardigan or knitted sweater vest
  • Closed-toe dress flats


Bike shorts may be worn under dresses at anytime; leggings or tights may be worn under dresses from October through April.

  • Uniform-style skirt*/bermuda shorts**/pants
  • Knitted cardigan or knitted sweater vest
  • Closed-toe dress flats


*Skirts must be no shorter than 1″ above the center of the knee;Bike shorts may be worn under skirts at anytime; leggings or tights may be worn under skirts from October through April.

** Bermuda shorts are those with a 7-9″ inseam

All Students:

  • Bottom two polo buttons must be fastened
  • No tight-fitting clothing (i.e., no “skinny” pants or shorts, etc)
  • No flannels, fleece, sweatshirts, or hoodies
  • No hats indoors
  • No glitter/charms/attachments on shoes

Adaptive Uniforms:

If a student needs an adaptive uniform and/or uniform modifications due to sensory challenges, please contact the Director for approval at least two weeks prior to the start of the academic year.
