Our Vision

We are a community of parents who desire to form our children as whole persons, created in the Image of God and called to walk in the footsteps of Christ. We form our children’s minds through the skills of the liberal arts and fill their souls through the humane studies of faith, literature, and history.

Our Approach

Christian

We are a Catholic co-op that warmly welcomes our Protestant and Orthodox brethren. We use the Memoria Press curriculum, founded by Catholics and used by families from a wide range of Christian traditions due to its commitment to providing a rich education that serves all the Christian faithful.

Classical

“Education is the cultivation of wisdom, the inculcation of virtue, and the training of the affections through meditation on the good, the true, and the beautiful. It is composed of a set of intellectual skills, called the ‘liberal arts,’ and a body of cultural knowledge....” Zélie Martin Classical follows this traditional form of classical education, with Latin at the center of our curriculum.

Intentional

We learn essential skills in an ordered, sequential way, applying them to learn the greatest of what has been thought and said, and creating a culture of diligence that is accessible to children with varying gifts. We are working well and learning well so that we can live well.

“Incorrect placement is an injustice to the child…”

John Mays

Our Offerings

We serve children ages 2-18,
including children with learning challenges and other special needs.

With the exception of Pre-Primary, we offer sequences, rather than traditional grade levels. This enables each child to be placed where they will best thrive, regardless of age, allowing them to thrive without being singled out as “advanced” or “behind.”

Scripture

We place the richness of Scripture and the liturgical year at the beginning of our day.

Latin

We study Latin, understanding that it is the foundation of grammatical understanding and ordered thinking.

Liberal Arts

We directly teach the skills of the liberal arts and practice them through our literature, history, and nature studies.

Wonder & Delight

We cultivate wonder in all our studies, recognizing the depth, breadth, and beauty of each, and we attain delight through a focus on mastery and working well; for delight comes from knowing that we truly know meaningful things.
