Statement of Faith*

Our faith statement is the Apostles’ Creed, the most ancient and widely accepted expression of the essential beliefs of the Christian faith. Zélie Martin Classical Homeschool Co-op teaches and upholds this faith and traditional Catholic Christian morality.

I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.

Family Commitments*

A co-op is only able to thrive when each member is firmly committed to the good of the community as a whole. Each family is firmly expected to commit to the following:

A non-refundable Family Fee of $150 per year to cover facility rental and/or insurance; Pre-Primary or Enrichment students will require an additional fee of $25 each to cover needed classroom supplies

The teaching of one full-year course, including intentional preparation and engaged presentation.

Participation in a one-on-one teacher development session before the school year starts.

Participation in the yearly orientation meeting.

The purchase of required books and uniforms. Each family will receive a customized booklist based on their children’s classes, including tips for ordering.

Daily engagement in student’s work, ensuring understanding, support, and the neat, accurate, and timely completion of all assignments.

Faithful adherence to all policies of Zélie Martin Classical. Current policies are detailed in our which will be provided to all Member Families. The Handbook is reviewed on a yearly basis; updates may be made during the academic year if circumstances require.

Financial Agreement*

Fees for Zélie Martin Classical Homeschool Co-op are as follows:

Family Fee: $150 per family

Supply Fee: $25 per student enrolled in Pre-Primary or Enrichment classes

Due Dates

All Fees: Family Fee, and Supply Fee if applicable, is due within one week of confirmation of our final location and corresponding meeting day/time.

If fees are not received by said deadline, the family's membership shall cease for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Payments must be made by check, made out to Zélie Martin Classical Homeschool Co-op. We are unable to accept credit/debit payments at this time.

Waiver of Liability*
In consideration of our immediate family being allowed to participate in any way in Zélie Martin Classical Homeschool Co-op related events and activities, the undersigned:

1. Agree that the parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) of the minor participants should inspect the facilities and equipment to be used, and if the parent or guardian believes anything is unsafe, he or she should immediately advise the Director of such condition(s) and refuse to have their family participate.

2. Acknowledge and fully understand that each family member may be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from their own actions, inactions, or negligence but the action, inaction, and negligence of others, or the condition of the premises or of any equipment used. Further, that there may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time.

3. Assume all the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for the damages following such injury, permanent disability or death.

4. Release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Zélie Martin Classical Homeschool Co-op, its affiliated clubs, their respective administrators, directors, agents, and other employees of the organization, other members/participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors or premises used to conduct the event, all of which are hereinafter referred to as “releases,” from any and all liability to each of the undersigned, his or her heirs and next of kin for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages on account of injury, including death and damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the releases or otherwise.

I HAVE READ THE ABOVE WAIVER AND RELEASE, UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT AND SIGN IT VOLUNTARILY.
