School Calendar

This schedule may need to be adjusted based on our final location.

Our school year runs from the first week of September until the last week of May, with scheduled breaks throughout the year, including two weeks for Christmastide and two weeks for Holy Week/Easter.

Co-op Day

We meet on ___________ in __________ from 9am – 1pm.

Class periods are 50 minutes each and Study Hall is available for students who have completed a particular course sequence or for whom we do not have a current offering during that class block.

Home Days

Between co-op days, each family works with and/or oversees their children as they complete their weekly assignments.

The level of support each child needs will vary, depending on the subject, the assignment, and the individual child. Parents of Pre-Primary students will continue with Days 2-5 of the Memoria Press lesson plans.

Assessments & Grading

The administration of quizzes/tests is left to the discretion of each family. Informal assessments will be given at co-op, in the form of:

  • class recitations,
  • flashcard drills/games, and
  • other review games

Parents are expected to review their students’ work at home, ensuring accuracy, neatness, and timely completion.

Course grades remain the responsibility of parents, but we will provide end-of-semester feedback for each student in the areas of Study Habits and Skill Progress. Feedback will consist of a simple three-level rubric: “Exceeds Expectations,” “Meets Expectations,” or “Needs Improvement.” A brief explanation will be provided if “Needs Improvement” is marked.
